STEVEN MILLER, CPA - PRESIDENT & CEO
Steve has an extensive array of tax consulting, teaching and writing experience. His foremost mission is to provide exceptional service to clients and creating a personal long-term relationship with each one.
Steve uses his years of experience to provide customized tax saving strategies to clients and assisting them in reaching their financial goals.
From 1984 through 1991, he worked for two international accounting firms where he initiated his international taxation experience.
He has served with expatriate tax practice teams, foreign nationals working in the US plus the Japanese International Network [JIN].
He has worked in Dallas, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Brussels, Washington DC, Florida and Chicago before establishing his own practice in Dallas in 1992.
Steve has authored international tax training courses and worked as an instructor for the Professional Development Institute. He has created nationally broadcast webinars for ACPEN – an organization that provides CPE to most of the State CPA Societies. He has been published by the Dallas Business Journal and Today’s CPA magazine for articles on international expatriate taxation and “Tax Planning for Incentive Stock Options.”
Steve is speaking at the statewide Texas Association of CPA's Conference in Austin in February 2018 on the topic, "Employing Tax Alpha to Enhance Investment Returns".
His practice focuses on global and domestic small businesses and high net worth individuals.
He assists other CPAs and tax practitioners in developing domestic and global tax strategies and/or compliance issues.
Steve has a strong musical background. He was a professional trumpet player before pursuing accounting. He enjoys the symphony, cycling, and playing with his two King Charles Cavalier’s, Rachel and Kansas.
