ED DAYTON, EA – SENIOR TAX ASSOCIATE
Ed Dayton is a native Dallasite who attended North Texas University and graduated from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU.
He was a commercial banker and mortgage banker for 45 years prior to entering the field of tax consultation and preparation in 2004. Ed earned Enrolled Agent (EA) status permitting client representation before the Internal Revenue Service in 2012.
Ed is deeply involved in personal, small business, estates and trust taxation and consulting helping clients plan their tax strategy.
His avocations are golf, hunting and fishing, and he has been an active member of his church and community service organizations throughout his business career.
Ed is a past president of the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Carrollton-Farmers Branch, and a past Training Chair and long-time Board Member of the Circle Ten Council, Boy Scouts of America that awarded him the Council Silver Beaver. At other times he enjoys the Blessings of his three children and two grandchildren.
